There are demons that haunt and torment us, never letting us escape their clutches. It is as if we are trapped in a room with no escape, save for the faint moonlight that filters through the blackened windows. Their fiery gaze pierces through us, leaving us feeling exposed and vulnerable. Yet we continue on, knowing that their sustenance comes from our very leisure. We fill our days with meaningless tasks, hoping to drown out their insistent calls. But such efforts are in vain, for these demons will never be sated. And so we sacrifice our very health, driving ourselves to the point of exhaustion in a futile attempt to hold them at bay. But they are patient, waiting in the shadows until we are weakest. And when they finally come to feast, they are all the more ferocious for having been starved for so long.
