People enter our lives for a reason - to propel us forward, to impart knowledge or to provide a welcome distraction. But once that purpose has been served, they leave. Everyone leaves eventually. The fact that a relationship may not stand the test of time doesn't mean it wasn't meant to be. Person-to-person connections are inherently fragile, and few will survive the long haul. It's the impact that those people and those relationships have on our lives that is truly lasting. That impact can reverberate through our very being, shaping us for years to come. Sometimes, the "forever" in a relationship isn't the person themselves, but what they impart to us. People don't have to be bad to be temporary; they simply have to serve their purpose and move on. The best we can do is focus on the impact they've had, and keep striving towards our own milestones. We should be grateful for these encounters, and wish those certain someones well as they continue on their own journey.
یہ فخر تو حاصِل ہے، بھلے ہیں کہ بُرے ہیں
دو چار قدم ہم بھی تیرے ساتھ چلے ہیں۔
